Hamza Yusuf on the Syrian Revolution

2019-09-10 6

May Allah carve the tongue out of the one, who uses it to insinuate that the blessed Muslims of Syria have been humiliated by Allah for attempting to undermine Bashar al-Kelb. Harsh is the rebuke for those that mock the plight of our people. Observe closely how he so casually laughs at our brothers and sisters, who shed blood to live with honour only for this disgrace of a scholar to suggest they were humiliated by Allah, when it was he who is known to preserve the rule of tyrants. The nerve to ask in rhetoric 'How is that revolution looking for you?' before smirking and scoffing in derision, as if the blessed Muslims were humiliated failures in his eyes when in truth they were honoured and victorious in the eyes of Allah.

Allah has elevated their status, who is he but a mere mortal to reduce it! "The master of the martyrs is Hamza ibn Abdul Mattalib, and a man who stands (in front of) an oppressive ruler and enjoins the good and forbids the evil and so is killed for it" (Hakim)

"If you humiliate a ruler, God will humiliate you, that's a Hadith" says Hamza Yusuf; who has the temerity to use a weaker chain of a Hadith (whose sanad is hasan) for which the stronger chain (whose sanad is sahih) says “Man ahāna Sultan Allah...” rather than "Man ahāna Sultan". The Hadith is in reference to a legitimate ruler Shar`an, and not the kelb al-Assad. Is this a scholar? Who could not even perform basic tarjeeh, nor distinguish between the shari'ah meaning of a Sultan - but instead use it generally and further still, as a pretext to insult the sacrifice of the Muslims!?

*Note the original video was removed perhaps because the uploader knew how bad it was and did not wish to tarnish this fool's image! *Note it was removed once again but I learnt from the first with the second and saved it myself so that I could upload it. This one has a paradoxical soundtrack attached to it as if to convey some profundity when the only thing he exudes is ignorance!

Abu Dharr said, "I was with the Prophet (saw) one day and I heard him saying: "There is something I fear for my Ummah than the the False Messiah." It was then that I became afraid, so I said: "Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He (saw) said; "Misguided and astray scholars." (Ahmad)
