Typhoon Lingling leaves 3 dead, damages 14,000 ha of crops in S. Korea

Typhoon Lingling became one of the most powerful typhoons to strike South Korea... wiping the peninsula over the weekend leaving at least 27 casualties in South Korea.
According to the latest updates by the nation's Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters... three people had died as of 7PM Sunday.
13 civilians and 11 fire and police officers were injured.
Around 36-hundred buildings had also reported damage.
And the typhoon damaged over 14-thousand hectares of crops.
Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon will visit the damaged areas later this morning, and closely assess the damage.
