Major crimes unit, more checkpoints vs rising crime rate

MANILA - Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas announced Wednesday the creation of a new major crimes unit under the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group as well as increased police checkpoints in Metro Manila.
