MANILA – Two soldiers are in critical condition following the fire and a series of explosions at the munitions depot of the Philippine Army on Wednesday. Philippine Army spokesman Lt. Col. Noel Detoyato said 2 of the 6 soldiers are in critical condition at the V. Luna General Hospital. He said the two soldiers were attached to respirators, with 80% of their bodies hit with burn injuries. Detoyato said the rest of the victims remain at the Philippine Army General Hospital. Authorities have finished clearing operations and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blaze. – report from Jerome Lantin, ABS-CBN News
