MANILA – Former actor Wowie De Guzman denied accusations that he is using his wife’s death to revive his showbiz career. In an interview with “Buzz ng Bayan” on Sunday, De Guzman said he is simply granting interviews since a lot of people have been asking about him following the passing of his wife, Sheryl Ann Reyes. Two weeks ago, Reyes died after taking a muscle pain reliever and months of having erratic blood pressure, the ex-actor had said. The “Mara Clara” actor said he could not help but blame himself for what happened because he believes he could have done something to prevent his wife’s death. Pero at that time kasi, nung tumataas 'yung blood pressure niya, iniiwasan ko makipagtalo sa kanya because baka nga tumaas. De Guzman’s wife was laid to rest last Saturday.
