Renderings of David Beckham’s planned Miami football stadium have been released. The open-air stadium would be built in an area known as Port-Miami, which hosts the world’s busiest cruise ship terminal. The waterfront location is one of several still being considered by Beckham’s MLS expansion club in negotiations with Miami-Dade County and the city’s mayor. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, who also played for the Los Angeles Galaxy, retired as a player last May. He holds a $25-million option in his MLS contract to start a new franchise. -- Mornings @ ANC, March 25, 2014.
