MANILA - A party-list lawmaker is urging Congress to pass a law that will limit the airing of foreign teleseryes on primetime. Buhay party-list Rep. Lito Atienza has filed a bill barring the airing of foreign TV series from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. He said the airing of foreign TV shows during primetime pushes local TV shows to other time slots that have less viewership. He said this has pushed local production companies to produce fewer local TV shows. RADIO DZMM, March 12, 2014
