Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said today that the cabinet paper on the targeted petrol subsidy will be tabled as soon as possible.
"It's good. (We are progressing) according to schedule," he told a press conference after attending the I-Keep Carnival in Kuala Lumpur.
"We have completed the paper and we are just waiting to present it to the cabinet, subject to the cabinet decision and amendment.
"This is a new policy and we have no experience in implementing it. Definitely, the cabinet members may come up with their own views and I must respect that."
