MANILA – A woman died after she was bitten by a cobra in Compostela Valley last week. Roseminda Serafica, 59, was allegedly bitten by a cobra in Barangay New Asturias in Maco town last Thursday, January 30. Serafica's daughter, Shiela, said the victim was pulling out weeds in the garden when the cobra attack happened. Shiela said her mother was able to tell her what happened before dying of complications brought by the neurotoxins in her body. – report from Claire Cornelio, ABS-CBN News Southern Mindanao
