MANILA - A woman was killed in San Isidro, Isabela for allegedly engaging in witchcraft. The woman's husband, however, said a fight over land property is behind the shooting. Flordelissa Villano was shot dead in front of at least 18 people in Barangay Villaflor. A witness said one of the suspects in the shooting was wearing a helmet while the other had his face covered. Senior Inspector Jeffrey Raposas, San Isidro police chief, said one angle eyed in the killing is that the victim was a witch. He, however, noted that the victim was not shunned or feared by her neighbors. The victim's husband, Virgilio, also said it is not true that his wife was a witch. He said a land dispute is behind the killing and that a relative might be involved. ABS-CBN Umagang Kay Ganda, December 19, 2013
