Three Filipino women are among the six fatalities in a fiery car crash in Malaysia. The victims were in a sports car in Kuala Lumpur when it crashed into a highway pillar and burst into flames. The driver was British and the two other fatalities were from Myanmar. Philippine Consul in Malaysia Johann Veronica Andal told ANC they are in touch with the Foreign Affairs Department in Manila to coordinate with the families of the victims. "Unfortunately, all their remains are severely burned beyond recognition because of the fire. That's why we're now in touch with the DFA Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs to request the families to provide us with DNA samples so we could match the identities of the victims," Andal said. Andal added that they are doing everything that they can to ensure that all the assistance would be given to victims' families and at the same time repatriate their remains to the Philippines.
