BOHOL - What used to be a merry season for Bohol has become gloomy, two months after a massive quake hit the province. Resorts in Panglao Island are struggling to fill up their rooms even during the holiday season, which normally is the peak season for tourists. The Bohol Tourism Council estimates tourist arrivals are down 50% in November compared to last year. Low occupancy rates hit not just luxury resorts but all hotels in Bohol.
