MANILA - A Palace spokesman on Wednesday said the initial estimates issued by President Aquino on the fatalities from typhoon Yolanda were based only on areas already reached by government. Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda said at that time, some 23 towns were still isolated. The President initially pegged the death toll at just over 2,000. Now, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council puts the number killed at 4,011. Meanwhile, Lacierda said as far as the delivery of relief supplies is concerned, reports can be sent to the DSWD's dedicated line. ANC NEWS NOW, November 20, 2013
