At least 57 people were reported killed and 200 injured in the typhoon Yolanda-hit province of Eastern Samar. Authorities fear that the death toll would rise sharply, as many survivors are saying that they got separated from their loved ones at the height of the typhoon's onslaught. The town of Guiuan, where the typhoon made its first landfall, remains isolated. - Umagang Kay Ganda, 11 November 2013
