MANILA - President Aquino defended Thursday his trip to South Korea just two days after a 7.2 magnitude quake hit the Visayas. In his departure speech, Aquino said his trip seeks to strengthen the Philippines' ties with South Korea, entice more investors and increase tourism. He said he has already visited Cebu and Bohol to ensure that relief efforts are ongoing for victims of the Visayas earthquake. ANC, October 17, 2013
