A tyre hit a car on Turpan–Urumqi–Dahuangshan Expressway after it fell off a truck in northwestern China.
The dashcam video, filmed in Fukang city in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on August 16, shows a tyre smashing through the barriers in the middle of the road and crashing into a vehicle head-on.
According to reports, the tyre dropped from a truck because of loose screws. The truck driver did not know of the incident until he was stopped by the police at a checkpoint.
Although the car was damaged seriously, the driver was not injured.
