President Trump held a media event Friday.
President Trump has expressed his support for ailing Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, telling a reporter Friday, "I hope she does really well. And our thoughts and prayers are with her."
"It's a very serious situation," he continued. "I'm hoping she's going to be fine. She's pulled through a lot. She's strong, very tough. But we wish her well, very well."
The president's comments come on the heels of the Supreme Court's disclosure that Ginsburg recently underwent radiation treatment for a cancerous tumor on her pancreas.
The statement also said that "no further treatment is needed at this time."
The 86-year-old justice has survived multiple bouts of cancer.
