Did you know that when you add vinegar to the baking soda, it creates a chemical reaction?
Let's do the experiment to get more information:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You Need:
-------------------------
Empty Bottle
Vinegar
Baking Soda
Food Colouring
Directions:
-------------------------
1. Put some baking soda in bottle.
2. Add some food coloring.
3. Pour vinegar on the top to see chemical reaction between vinegar and baking soda forming colourful volcano.
Reason:
-------------------------
Adding baking soda to the vinegar creates a chemical reaction. Vinegar is an acid. When vinegar and base of baking soda combine, they create carbon dioxide. Bubbling, fizzing carbon dioxide creates volcano effect. You can add more baking soda on the top of vinegar to create more form and fizzing effect.
