MANILA, Philippines – NBA stars Blake Griffin, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul are in Beijing, telling journalists that basketball can be big in China. New York Knicks’ Anthony and the Los Angeles Clippers’ Griffin and Paul joined forces against a Chinese team and spoke about the match to reporters. Meanwhile, All-Star point guard Paul, who agreed to a five-year, $107-million contract extension with the Clippers earlier in July, said the arrival of new head coach Doc Rivers was “exciting.” Griffin, Anthony and Paul will also visit Shanghai, Guangzhou and Taipei. -- Mornings @ ANC, July 17, 2013
