MANILA, Philippines – The FEU Tamaraws nipped the Ateneo Blue Eagles in overtime, 79-75, to seize an early lead in the UAAP Season 76 men’s basketball tournament. The Tamaraws now have a 2-0 record and the solo lead in the eight-team tournament. Meanwhile, at 0-2, the Blue Eagles are off to their worst start in 10 years. In the first game, the De La Salle Green Archers pulled away from the UP Fighting Maroons in the fourth quarter to book their first win of the season, 96-84.
