MANILA, Philippines – Undefeated champion boxers Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez faced off in New York’s Times Square as they promoted their upcoming fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arean. Mayweather chose Canelo as his opponent for the second bout of his new contract with Showtime Networks Inc. To many, Mayweather represents boxing’s best, a veteran with 17 years of professional experience. Canelo, at 22, is a fighting phenomenon who turned pro when he was only 15.
