Many were left confused on Thursday when President Trump retweeted a video showing a baby elephant slipping in the mud and mom coming to the rescue. It is, without question, adorable, but the fact that it came from the president via a platform he often uses to sling politics-related mud, caught the attention of many. Some interpreted it as a metaphor, like the person who wrote: "A struggling elephant going nowhere. Today's GOP." Others searched for meaning, asking questions like, "Did Eric steal daddy's phone?" and, "Umm....what?" There was also a person who was clearly not amused by the president goofing around on company time, so to speak. He commented: "I am so thankful that this is evidence of the hard presidential work you do. When do the cartoons come on?"
