Camila Cabello Hits Back at
Body Shamers on Instagram.
In a post to Instagram Stories on August 3,
Camila Cabello vented about body shamers and
their “unrealistic view of the woman’s body.”.
The 22-year-old celebrity was apparently trying
to celebrate the two-year anniversary of “Havana”
when she came across a post body shaming her.
My eyes accidentally ran over a [headline] of
people “body shaming me” / honestly first thing
I felt was super insecure just IMAGINING
what these pictures must look like…, Camila Cabello, via Instagram.
She then said she realized “bad
pictures” are normal and that
“fake is becoming the new real.”.
Of course there are bad pictures, of course
there are bad angles…everyone’s eyes get used
to seeing airbrushed bodies and airbrushed
skin, and suddenly they think THAT’s the
norm.?!!! It isn’t. It’s fake, Camila Cabello, via Instagram.
Cabello ended her post with an
empowering message to “young girls
growing up in an airbrushed world.”.
Girls, cellulite is normal. fat is normal.
It’s beautiful and natural. I won’t buy into
the bulls--- today!!!! Not today satan. and
I hope you don’t either, Camila Cabello, via Instagram.
