Thousands of Koreans took to the streets on Saturday evening, in a large candlight rally against Japan's trade restrictions.
More than 15-thousand people from 6-hundred-and-80 civic groups gathered in front of the Japanese embassy.
They called Japan's removal of Korea from its whitelist a form of "economic invasion."
Among other demands, they said South Korea should not renew its deal with Japan on sharing military intelligence.
They plan to hold a candellight rally every Saturday.
More than 10-thousand people are also expected to rally on August 15th... which marks Korea's Liberation Day... when the country regained its sovereignty in 1945,... after decades of Japan's oppressive colonial rule.
