Education Minister Maszlee Malik said that the language of technology and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (I.R 4.0) is based on English.
He said English is needed to master the different specialties for sciences, computing, coding, robotics and AI.
He said this in response to a question on the reintroduction of the Teaching and Learning of Science and Mathematics in English (PPSMI) programme in schools.
