Well Connyoung, countries in Western Europe such as Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany smashed all-time temperature records on Thursday afternoon because of this heatwave.
Belgium topped all-time records twice on the same day, with the mercury touching 40-point-7 degrees Celsius.
Northern Germany set a new national temperature record at least three times Thursday with the highest hitting 42-point-6 degrees Celsius.
This second heat wave of the month arrived from the Sahara Desert as its cauldron of hot air was pushed up north by high pressure into the European continent.
Climate scientists warn this could become the new normal as a result of global warming from greenhouse gas emissions.
In attempts to deal with the sizzling weather, Europeans and tourists were seen jumping into fountains, lakes, rivers and the sea.
The heatwave is worse for them to deal with as many countries in Europe do not have air conditioning installed indoors.
