Raw Meat Recalled Due to Possible
Human Blood Contamination US Foods recently announced a recall for
approximately 712 pounds of raw pork and beef. The recall is due to the meat possibly
being contaminated with human blood. US Food discovered the possible contamination
when an employee notified them that they may have
cut themselves during the meat production process. The recall is for both fresh and frozen beef and pork
produced on July 18, that was shipped to restaurants
in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee. The contaminated product has the establishment
number EST. 21103 inside its USDA mark of inspection. Individuals with the recalled pork and beef
are being urged to either throw away or return
the product to the place of purchase.
