Nutella is one of those things you can eat any time of day: on your toast first thing in the morning, in a sandwich for lunch, or straight out of the jar after a hard day at work (don't worry, we won't tell anyone!). And although it's great as a treat, and also as comfort food, there's so much more you can do with it. Just take a look at the following recipe.

You'll Need:

For the wreath:

- 10½ oz flour
- 4¾ fl oz lukewarm water
- 1½ tsp dried yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 7 oz Nutella
- egg yolk

For the decoration:

- Nutella
- fresh mint leaves
- red currants
- blueberries
- powdered sugar

Here's How:

1. Prepare the dough by mixing the yeast, water and sugar together and then leaving the mixture to stand for 10 minutes. Then knead them together with the flour, oil and salt into a dough, before letting it sit for an hour.

2. Roll out the yeast dough on a work surface generously sprinkled with flour, spread the Nutella over it, then roll it up from both outside edges into the middle. Cut the double roll in half lengthwise so you end up with two individual rolls.

3.Position them in a circle on a baking tray lined with baking parchment. The ends of both rolls should be touching.

4. Now use scissors to cut the wreath into segments a bit less than an inch thick, and pull them apart so they alternate between pointing inwards and outwards.

5. For the next step, coat the wreath generously with egg yolk, then bake it for 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 340°F, with the heat set to above and below.

6. Of course, the garnish is optional, but a little bowl of Nutella in the middle for dipping, as well as a few mint leaves, red currants, and blueberries as decoration will make this dish really eye-catching. You can add the the finishing touch by dusting everything with a little powdered sugar.

You don't have to be a massive Nutella fan to enjoy this creamy, delicate pastry. And thanks to the handy pull-off portions, it's perfect for parties. Dig in!
