A partial lunar eclipse wILL be visible from much of the world this week,... including Asia, Europe and South America,... AND coincidentally it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing.
From Asia and Australia, the eclipse will take place early Wednesday while other regions will see it take place on the preceding evening.
Lunar eclipses take place when the Earth crosses between the sun and the moon, and casts its shadow across the lunar surface.
Experts say it's not harmful to watch the eclipse with the naked eye,... adding it will also be fun and easy to photograph.
