Datuk Seri Najib Razak has hit back at Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz after the Padang Rengas MP's criticism of his recent appointment as the Barisan Nasional Advisory Board chairman, saying that Nazri had purportedly not acting in the interest of Barisan in several instances.
At a gathering with his supporters in Batu Kawan, Penang on Sunday, Najib cited MCA that among the reasons the party lost Chinese votes was due to Nazri’s criticism against Robert Kuok.
The former premier also denied that he was trying to use the position as a stepping stone to return as the prime minister in future.
