Good morning. A monsoon has swung into full force across most regions, dropping heavy showers on upper regions overnight. The rain clouds are gradually moving away from the peninsula and the showers will let up today. Misiryeong, mountainous regions in Gangwon-do Province, saw more than 150 millimeters of rainfall in less than 48 hours.
Heavy rain alerts are in place for Gangwon-do Province with warnings for some mountainous regions. If you are there, take precautions and stay safe.
In fact, you will see rain through Friday morning in some regions, but Seoul will see the rain tapering off today. Other central and eastern regions will see 5 to 20 millimeters of light showers.
Temperature-wise, the lows are similar to yesterday, ranging from 20 to 22 degrees Celsius.
Daily highs will be on the comfortable side, hovering in the mid to upper twenties in most parts.
