BMW has announced it will manufacture its first fully-electric version of the iconic Mini at the company's Oxford plant in the United Kingdom.
The German automaker previously considered moving production out of the country in case of Brexit,... but says it's committed and invested heavily in its British production facilities.
The Mini Electric could hit the streets as early as March 2020.
However, BMW has decided to move some of its engine production out of the UK due to uncertainties over Brexit.
