North Korea has introduced a new commemorative coin that highlights the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
Lee Sang-hyun, a member of the Seoul-based Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation explained the coin issued this year by the regime's central bank is engraved with the words, "denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula," and "protection of the world's peace and security."
He added there are three hands squeezing a nuclear missile-like object.
The design is in stark difference with last year's commemorative coin,... which had a picture of fist pressing down on the American flag and a rocket printed with "USA."
