ADDISON, TEXAS — A private plane crashed into an airport hanger in Texas on Sunday, leaving behind no survivors.
The aircraft was a twin-engine Beechcraft BE-350 King Air, NBC News reports.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford told the Dallas News that the plane crashed into the hanger at 9.10 a.m. during takeoff from Addison Airport in Texas.
No one was inside the hanger during the time of the accident.
Citing a statement from the FAA, NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth reports, the aircraft was completely destroyed by flames killing all 10 onboard. Officials have yet to release the names of the victims.
The plane was headed from Addison, Texas to St. Petersburg, Florida, reports CNN.
Both the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Association will send a team to investigate the cause of the accident, according to CNN.
Judge Clay Jenkins, a Dallas County judge, tweeted, "Please pray for the families who lost loved ones in this tragedy. Team in process of notifying them."
Airport operations resumed around 45 minutes after the crash, as reported by The Dallas News.
