Good afternoon. Those in southern provinces will see monsoon rains, Chungcheong-do Provinces will see light sprinkles while Jeju and rest of southern regions will see monsoon rains of up to 30 millimeters through this evening.
The rest of the country will be under mostly sunny skies. A soupy afternoon is in store with warm highs at 29 degrees in Seoul and 30 degrees in Daegu.
We are now in July, one of the hottest months of the year in Korea. In fact, the temperatures will continue to rise and by Friday we could see readings soaring to 33 degrees Celsius in the capital, while sunny skies and high humidity will dominate the week.
