President Moon says today's meeting between President Trump and Chairman Kim was a great advancement in the peace process on the Korean Peninsula.
He was speaking right after the meeting wrapped up.

"I want to express my respect to President Trump for his decisive and creative approach. I think the process for the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and lasting peace has taken a huge leap forward."

He says the event gave the world and the 70 million people of the two Koreas great hope.
And with Pyeongyang and Washington having agreed to form working-level teams to restart nuclear negotiations,... President Moon says he believes good results are on the horizon.
