Council says no prior permission given to carry out soil digging work in landslide spot

The Penang Island City Council has launched an investigation into Tuesday’s landslide at a construction site next to a holiday resort in Tanjung Bungah, Penang, which claimed the lives of four Myanmar construction workers.
