Grand Jury Indicts Cardi B
Over Strip Club Fight According to TMZ, the
"I Like It" songstress faces 14 charges, including assault. Others charges include
harassment, conspiracy and
criminal solicitation. The charges stem from a fight the
singer was involved in at a NYC
strip club in August 2018. According to two women who worked
at the club, Cardi ordered her
entourage to attack them. The women have claimed that bottles
and chairs, among other things,
were thrown at them. This past April, Cardi
turned down a plea deal
related to the case. The deal would have had
her confessing guilt to
one charge, a misdemeanor. However, her legal team
has maintained that
Cardi didn't hurt
anyone in the fight. The case will continue on in court, with her
next date currently set for August 9.
