Un buque de rescate iraní salvó hoy a los 44 miembros de la tripulación de los dos cargueros extranjeros que fueron supuestamente blanco de un ataque en el mar de Omán, cerca de la zona en la que se registró un incidente similar el pasado mayo. Los armadores y marinos implicados y el Ejércido de EEUU lo consideran un "ataque".
La agencia iraní IRNA anunció que uno de los buques se había hundido con 75.000 toneladas de carburante a bordo, sin embargo un portavoz de la empresa a la que pertenece lo niega.
Los tripulantes - 23 de un carguero y 21 del otro - fueron rescatados del mar y conducidos sanos y salvos al puerto de Jask, en la provincia iraní meridional de Hormozgan, por un carguero iraní.

An Iranian rescue ship today saved the 44 crew members of the two foreign freighters who were allegedly targeted in an attack in the Oman Sea, near the area in which a similar incident was recorded last May. The owners and sailors involved and the US Army consider it an "attack".
The Iranian agency IRNA announced that one of the ships had sunk with 75,000 tons of fuel on board, however a spokesman for the company to which it belongs denies it.
