This is the terrifying moment a scooter driver luckily escaped after lightning struck the ground inches away from her in southern China.
The dashcam video, filmed in Yulin City in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, shows a scooter driver collapsing to the ground after a bolt of lightning narrowly misses her.
Another clip shows the damage the lightning bolt had on the tarmac, leaving a small hole in the road.
Fortunately, the scooter driver only suffered skin trauma.
