Phoenix adds 50th HAWK crosswalk to keep pedestrians safer

On Friday, Phoenix will dedicate the 50th High-Intensity Activated Crosswalk used to deter mid-block crossing to keep pedestrians safer. These signals are known as HAWKs and provide a crossing point between intersections.
