Good afternoon. The heavy rain that pounded the country is tapering off but parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeongsang-do Provinces will see showers until dawn tomorrow with mountainous regions possibly getting up to 120 millimeters of rain.
Heavy rain advisories remain in place there and a strong wind advisory remains in place for Jeju and other areas along the coast as well as a high seas watch... so check your travel schedules in case of any cancellations or delays.
Temperatures will be a lot cooler. Daegu will notice highs dropping by nearly 10 degrees Celsius today, but sunshine and warm weather return in time for the weekend.
This afternoon, Seoul will get up to 25 degrees Celsius, Gwangju and Jeju at 24 degrees.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
