2019 CMT Music Awards The 2019 CMT Music Awards took place in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 5 at the Bridgestone Arena. The fan-voted awards show is exclusively for
country music television performances and music videos. Here are the top five winners
from the night. 1. Carrie Underwood Underwood won both Video of the Year for
her single, “Cry Pretty,” as well as Female Video
of the Year for her song, “Love Wins." She is the most awarded artist in CMT
Music Awards’ history with a total of 20 wins. 2. Zac Brown Band The band won the award for Group Video of
the Year for their song, “Someone I Used To Know,”
which was released on November 9, 2018. 3. Keith Urban & Julia Michaels The 51-year-old country star took home the award
for Collaborative Video of the Year for his song,
“Coming Home,” featuring Julia Michaels. 4. Luke Combs & Leon Bridges The pair won CMT Performance of the Year for
their song, “Beautiful Crazy,” beating out fellow
nominees such as Boyz II Men and Zac Brown Band. 5. Dan + Shay The American country due won Duo Video of
the Year for their song, “Speechless,” which sold
over 380,000 copies in the United States.
