The UN's Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific says South Korea face both risks and opportunities from the U.S.-China trade war.
The commission analyzed the risks and opportunities for Asian Pacific economies from the trade dispute.
It found South Korea has the largest indirect risk and would be hurt badly from China's economic slowdown.
However, it said the trade war could present new opportunities for Korea as U.S. manufacturers will seek new suppliers due to the high tariffs on materials coming from China.
It also said strategic investment will be crucial in turning risks into new opportunities.
