This past weekend the AU review had the opportunity to sit in a media conference with Australia's folk brother and sister duo, Angus and Julia Stone, at Laneway Festival in Singapore.
Julia discusses the idea of 'making it' and how it is driven on the love of making music not keeping popularity the main goal in a music career.
Angus weighs in on the 'indie' subculture and how it is seen as a lifestyle with vast opportunity rather than the definitions in which it has been given.
The sibling duo then discuss about the acts they were looking forward to see at Laneway Festival such as Chet Faker, Pond and St Vincent.
Part one of two.
