Facebook Has Banned Billions
of Fake Accounts in 2019 A new report from the social media site says
2.19 billion were deleted in this year's first quarter. That's nearly a billion increase
from the last quarter of 2018
when 1.2 billion were wiped. Business Insider reports there
are 2.38 billion monthly genuine users
on the platform who are active. In a blog post, Facebook's VP of Integrity,
