President Moon Jae in is believed to be in a meeting with former U.S. President George W. Bush at this hour for talks on upgrading the two countries' bilateral ties and promoting friendship.
The presidential Blue House says they could discuss ways to advance the nuclear negotiations with North Korea, drawing on Mr. Bush's past experience with the Six Party Talks during his time in the White House.
Later this afternoon, the former U.S. president will attend the ceremony in Bongha Village to mark the 10th anniversary of the death of the former South Korean President Roh Moo hyun.
The two worked closely together as their terms in office overlapped from 2003 to 2008.
