South Korea's speed skating superstar Lee Sang-hwa... is retiring from the sport.
She leaves behind a decorated legacy.
At a press conference today, Lee thanked everyone who supported her, in a journey through which she achieved three goals of winning a skating world cup, an Olympic gold medal and setting a world record.
She joined the national team at age 15 and is a two-time 500-meters Olympic champion.
Lee Sang-hwa is still the world record holder in that category.
