WHO “2050년 세계 치매인구 1억5200만명 달할 것”
The World Health Organization is urging people around the world to eat well and exercise more to reduce the risk of dementia.
The WHO released its first ever guidelines on the brain disorder on Tuesday.
It said there are already 50 million people around the world with dementia and the figure is expected to triple to 152 million by the year 2050.
The report added age is the strongest risk factor of dementia, but noted it wasn't an inevitable consequence of ageing.
