We've been experiencing some of the worst levels of fine dust recently.
To raise awareness of the issue, an outdoor restaurant was set up in Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square.
Choi Si-young takes us to where hundreds made a statement by dining in the smog.
A symbolic demonstration to show that the public is determined to fight fine dust pollution.
That was the reason that led nearly three-hundred people from Seoul and other regions gather in Gwanghwamun Plaza, in the heart of the capital city.
At the outdoor dinner organized by the civic group Korea Peace Energy Center, the demonstrators also called on policymakers to draw up measures to reduce the dust levels.

And people here did more than just eat dinner.
The organizers actually measured the levels of fine dust before and after the meal,... to show just how serious the pollution is.
Some of them came as far from as Daegu and had a lot to say.
"An outdoor restaurant in Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square seemed meaningful, so I came. I think we should all take this issue seriously and find a solution."
"Fine dust pollution is serious. I took part in today's event so good policies are rolled out to help people breathe cleaner air."
Participants watched a documentary on how people are dealing with the dust pollution in their everyday lives.
Students representing the younger generation of Korea called for a cleaner sky.
In addition, musicians delivered live performances and some played instruments with their gas mask on.
Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon who now heads the presidential committee on climate and air quality offered his congratulatory remarks via video.
